AIADMK begins distribution of forms, 1.2K aspirants turn up on Day 1

THE AIADMK has begun issuing applications to party functionaries aspiring to contest the forthcoming Assembly election in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, with a large number of aspirants receiving forms from the party headquarters on Monday.
The last date for submitting the filled-in forms is December 23. According to sources, Palaniswami intends to complete the candidate selection process and other preparatory work by January, as the notification for the Assembly election is expected either in the last week of February or the first week of March.
