A host of crime control measures, strict enforcement and people-friendly policing has led to a decline in property and professional offences in Rourkela police district.
Addressing the media on Thursday, DIG (Western Range) Brijesh Rai accompanied by Rourkela SP Nitesh Wadhwani said five dacoity cases were reported in Quarter (Q) 4 of 2024 which came down to zero in Q1 of 2025.
