|January 31, 2025
SECOND-LARGEST state-run lender Bank of Baroda on Thursday reported ₹4,837 crore net profit in the quarter ending December, which is just 5.6% higher than the ₹4,579 crore it had booked a year ago.
Margin slipped more than expected to under 3% as the cost of funds was more than its yields on advances while the key net interest margin struggled with a 2.8% uptick in the reporting period.
