'Bheem Yatra' to begin from Bengaluru on April 10, arrive in Nipani on April 14, a grand event on April 15

- EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE @Belagavi

THE BJP is going to organise a grand event in Nipani to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the historic visit of Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution. Ambedkar visited Nipani on April 11. While attending a press conference at the Hall of Halasiddhanath Sugar Factory, Nipani, the MLA Shashikala Jolle said this would be a matter of pride for all the residents of Nipani.

The "Bheem Yatra" starting on April 10 in Bengaluru will arrive in Nipani on April 14, and a massive programme will be held on April 15. This is intended to give a new dimension to Ambedkar's fight for justice.

She stated that during the winter Session held in Belagavi, she had proposed to hold an event commemorating the centenary year of Ambedkar's visit but unfortunately, the government did not extend support to it.
