Vodafone Idea widened net loss to ₹7,166 crore for the January-March quarter (Q4FY25), compared to a loss of ₹7,674.6 crore in the same quarter the previous year.

- Rakesh Kumar @ New Delhi

In the previous quarter the telecom service provider reported a net loss of ₹6,609 crore.

Revenue from operations in the quarter under review was at ₹11,013.5 crore as against ₹10,606.8 crore in the year-ago period. Sequentially, revenue from operations fell 1% to ₹11,013 crore.

Average revenue per user (ARPU), excluding M2M (machine-to-machine) connections, improved to ₹175 in Q4FY25, up from ₹153 a year earlier, reflecting a 14.2% YoY rise. The rise was attributed to tariff hikes and customer upgrades.
