TMC's Ray, BJP's Locket & 2 docs face police grilling

The police have also summoned BJP leader Locket Chatterjee and doctors Kunal Sarkar and Subarno Goswami for questioning. The three are being investigated for allegedly spreading misinformation about the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College.

Dr Goswami made several claims in the media, alleging he had seen the post-mortem report and described its contents. In an X post, Sukhendu Ray demanded a probe by the CBI which did take over the investigation from the Kolkata Police.
