Posing as RBI officials, gang robs ₹7 crore from ATM cash-loading vehicle

IN a daring heist executed in broad daylight in Bengaluru on Wednesday afternoon, five to six criminals, posing as Reserve Bank of India (RBI) officials, intercepted a cash-intransit vehicle (CITV) carrying ₹7.11 crore and escaped with the money after abandoning the vehicle and its four staff members.
The four staff members of the money transfer operator company have been taken into custody, suspecting their involvement.
