Patole meets Rahul, Cong all set to go for Maha rejig
The Morning Standard
|February 11, 2025
MAHARASHTRA Congress president Nana Patole met with Lok Sabha MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Monday, sparking speculation about a major overhaul in the state Congress unit.
This could involve promoting young and new faces to key positions. Patole met with Gandhi in Delhi to discuss significant changes within the Maharashtra unit of the party. Taking responsibility for the party's defeat in last year's assembly elections, Patole has submitted his resignation from the top position and has left the decision regarding his replacement up to the party.
