Omar, BJP refuse to take blame for controversial demolitions in Jammu

AS Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha have denied their involvement in the recent demolitions of houses in Jammu and Kashmir, the question arises who ordered the demolitions.
On Thursday, Jammu Development Authority (JDA) officials used bulldozers to demolish “illegal structures” in Narwal of Jammu, including the house of journalist Arfaz Daing. A day earlier, a demolition drive was carried out in Kashmir’s Kangan. Demolitions have evoked condemnation from civil society members and political leaders.
