Oil Begins Gas Production From Jaisalmer Block

OIL India Limited (OIL) on Monday announced the commencement of natural gas production from the Bakhritibba Discovered Small Field (DSF) in Jaisalmer.
As per the company, the initial gas production from Bakhritibba block currently stands at 67,200 standard cubic meters per day (SCMD), with plans to swiftly ramp up the output to 100,000 SCMD. OIL said this gas will be supplied to key entities, including GAIL (India) Ltd and the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (RRVUNL), directly contributing to the region's ener
