Despite absence of superspecialty facilities, the medical team ensured a safe outcome for both mother and child after nearly four hours of effort.

The newborn, a healthy baby boy, was delivered naturally, and both mother and child are reported to be in good condition. State Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav congratulated the hospital staff and urged them to continue such inspiring work in the new year. The mother, K. Roopavathi (25) from Pendhurthi, was admitted to the hospital late Tuesday night with labor pains. An ultrasound scan conducted in the eighth month had estimated the baby's weight at 3 kilograms, but by the ninth month, the weight had increased significantly.
