The Morning Standard
|September 19, 2025
MARUTI Suzuki India, the country's largest carmaker, has announced price cuts of up to ₹1.29 lakh across its portfolio, with the entry-level S-Presso now starting at ₹3.5 lakh.
-
While most automakers have lowered prices in the range of 8-10% following the GST Council's move to reduce tax rates earlier this month, Maruti has gone further, slashing prices by as much as 24% on select models.
The revised prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025, and would remain valid until December 31, 2025. The company said it will review the scheme after the deadline to decide whether to extend or modify the offer.
