Mann says Punjab looks to adopt Delhi model to boost urban development

The Punjab government is considering adoption of the Delhi model to provide quality facilities in the state's cities.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday held a meeting in Delhi with commissioners of all municipal corporations of Punjab in this regard.
Two years ago, a knowledge-sharing agreement was signed between the Punjab and Delhi governments.
With elections to the municipal corporations of Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala, Amritsar and Phagwara set to be held anytime now, the government is in a mood to improve the civic amenities.
