Hamas hails UN court’s order to Israel to halt military operations in Rafah; UN chief Antonio Guterres says order binding on Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said he would consult senior ministers Friday by phone after the UN’s top court ordered Israel to immediately halt its military operation in rafah.
Israel’s far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich responded to the ruling on X, formerly Twitter, saying “history will judge those who stand today alongside the Nazis of Hamas Daesh,” referring to the jihadist Islamic State group.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Friday underscored that International Court o f Justice ruling sare “binding”.
