Govt to recreate lost natural heritage of mountain range by restoring ecosystem in 7 districts
HARYANA govt is preparing a comprehensive ecological restoration plan for seven districts in which the Aravalli mountain range runs with the help of inputs from experts. It plans to recreate the lost natural heritage of the mountain range by restoring the dead, extinct and highly degraded ecosystems.
Experts have suggested that assemblage of grass and plant species belonging to the mountain range in the form of forest communities should be considered to restore the sites and have also given a list of flora species that may be developed.
