ED contests shifting of Balaji to private hospital, SC to hear plea on Wednesday

THE Supreme Court has agreed to hear on Wednesday a plea filed by the Enforcement Directorate against an order of the Madras High Court allowing the shifting of arrested Tamil Nadu minister V Senthil Balaji
The HC had allowed the minister, who was under treatment at Omandurar government hospital, to be shifted to Kauvery Hospital for heart surgery.
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta mentioned the matter before a vacation bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice M M Sundresh seeking urgent hearing.
