Says no evidence found against the arrested in CBI investigation
A special TADA court in Jammu on Tuesday dealt a major setback to the CBI after it rejected the agency’s remand plea and ordered the release of Shafat Ahmad Shangloo, who had been arrested a day earlier in Srinagar for his alleged involvement in the 1989 abduction of Rubaiya Sayeed, daughter of then Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
