BIMSTEC meet: Maritime ties, trade & travel on top of Modi's Thailand agenda

Prime Minister will leave for Thailand on Thursday to attend the sub-regional BIMSTEC grouping summit.
He will also go on a three-day visit to Sri Lanka from April 4 to 6.
The BIMSTEC summit on April 4 will prioritize maritime cooperation with the signing of the Agreement on Maritime Transport Cooperation, designed to boost cargo and passenger transport across the Bay of Bengal, enhancing trade and connectivity. A Vision 2030 document will be unveiled, charting a roadmap for the region's long-term growth and development.
