‘50% of Secunderabad Rly Station works complete, to be made functional by Dec’

TELANGANA has become the only state in India with 100% electrified railway lines, Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy said on Monday.
The minister inspected the ongoing ₹714.73 crore redevelopment works at Secunderabad Railway Station and said that 50% of the project has been completed. "The redevelopment aims to transform the historic Secunderabad station, built during the British era, into a world-class facility comparable to modern airports," he said.
