4-Year Residence Rule for Domicile Quota Medical Admission Upheld

The Supreme Court on Monday upheld Telangana's rules on domicile quota in medical admissions, setting aside a state high court ruling that had relaxed the requirement.
A two-judge bench comprising Chief Justice of India BR Gavai and Justice K Vinod Chandran allowed the appeals filed by the state government and Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences.
