As the world’s most powerful economies descend on Johannesburg, South Africa sends a clear message: it’s time for global power to serve people, not just profit.

The country has pushed for lasting commitments in its G20 presidency - especially on youth employment, climate justice and economic inclusion.

The Group of Twenty (G20), made up of 19 countries, the EU and the African Union, represents 85% of global GDP and over 75% of trade.
