IN RESPONSE to Saber Jazbhay (The Mercury, August 15), I have this to say: with which tainted glasses are you viewing human rights in South Africa, sir?

Your letter makes mention of apartheid crimes, which, by the way, I also strongly condemn, but how long are we still going to cling to this rhetoric?
At what point are you going to accept that most of us born after 1980 have very little to do with those crimes?
You arrogantly state in your letter that “(the) majority of thinking and patriotic people of SA firmly reject its findings”... which majority are you talking about? Certainly not us sober-minded, eyes-wide-open citizens? Please don't speak on my behalf!
Furthermore, you mention our constitutional strength as if it is perfect and will never fail us—have you not been around to notice the politicisation of our judiciary by the ANC and EFF cadres, sir?
