Young Cats to face some of Europe's best at Stadium of Light

GRAEME Murty’s Sunderland Under-21s will once again compete against some of Europe's elite youth opposition this season.
-
They will play in the Premier League International Cup (PLIC) for the 2025-26 season.
The competition provides homegrown players from Category One academies the opportunity to face top European youth sides as part of the Premier League's International Programme.
The top 16 finishers in Premier League 2 join 16 invited international clubs in a season-long tournament that runs alongside domestic fixtures.
