Witness appeal after man seriously injured in attack

A MAN was knocked unconscious after an attack in a bar in Newcastle.

Police say the victim suffered serious injuries following the assault at Holy Hobo in Jesmond.

Officers investigating the incident have now appealed to the public for information.

They say that between 12.30am and 1am on Wednesday, June 18, it was reported that two men had been involved in a verbal disagreement while queuing to use the toilets inside Holy Hobo near Archbold Terrace.
