Wheelbirks Ice Cream Parlour, in Stocksfield, is on the market as its owners look towards retirement.

Tom and Hugh Richardson, who are the fifth generation owners of the Stocksfield business, said that it had been an incredibly hard decision.

Posting on Facebook, they wrote: “We feel fortunate to choose to do this on our own terms, unlike so many friends and colleagues in the farming community who've had this choice taken from them.
