Traffic and noise flagged as concerns in pub plan

OBJECTIONS have been raised over plans to extend the drinking hours of a recently re-opened Tynemouth pub.

Councillors will meet next week to decide on an application from the Gibraltar Rock, on East Street, to serve alcohol until lam on Friday and Saturday.
The proposals also call for the right to play music until midnight, Friday to Saturday.
However, two complaints have been logged by the local authority.
