Sisters' mission to make light of the menopause

TWO Northumberland siblings are determined to shine the light on the struggles of menopause by launching an uplifting new gift range.

Steph Wood, 32 and Natalie Wood, 36, who own and run the Laughing Sisters gift brand, have designed an array of "sweary candles, sassy socks and sarcastic stationary" in a bid to spark conversations around one of life's challenges.

The duo, from Hexham, have created 'mood-lifting menopause' presents, which are designed to bring joy, solidarity, and conversation to a topic that affects millions of women but is still often shrouded in silence.
