Return of the Fringe Festival

THE return of Newcastle Fringe Festival kicked off yesterday with its biggest programme yet - more than 110 performances across eight venues.

The festival lineup spans comedy, music, theatre, drag, dance, family shows and more, with appearances from big names including former Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy, Inua Ellams, Dane Baptiste, Suzie McCabe and Amy Matthews.
