CYBER security business Precursor Technology Group is poised to create new jobs in the North East after seeing huge growth in the last year.
The Leeds-based company launched its security operations centre in Newcastle's Portland House last year, working around the clock, 365 days of the year.
Launched six years ago, Precursor provides solutions to help businesses stay secure, with its 24-hour service offering cloud security, continuous security testing, back-up and restore solutions, compliance services, incident response and penetration testing. The company employs 35 staff, with 23 people at its headquarters in Leeds, 10 in its Newcastle office and two in London.
Later this year it plans to take on 15 new members of staff across all offices, with eight starting in Newcastle, after seeing a 70% increase in sales over the past year.
