Post office relocating from current premises

A NEW post office has been secured in Ashington but the new branch will not open until ten days after the current one has closed.

The post office will relocate from its current premises to just 160 metres down Station Road at Aitkins Newsagents.
The Post Office has said the current postmaster has resigned and the Station Road closed on Monday. The replacement will open on Thursday, June 19 at 1pm.
