PIF inject £45 million into United club funds

NEWCASTLE
United backers PIF have injected £45million into the club funds ahead of the January transfer window.Companies House provided an update yesterday just hours after the Magpies reached their third Carabao Cup semifinal in four years.
The figure is one of a series of capital injections pushed into Newcastle's coffers by the owners and comes just before the winter trading period.
The move follows a £106.5m contribution back in autumn meaning PIF and the Reuben family have now pumped in more than £500m since the takeover in 2021.
