Pensioner's walk in memory of late husband

An 83-year-old North Tyneside woman has walked five miles in memory of her husband in her latest physical challenge.
Morven Stone, 83, walked from Tynemouth Priory to St Mary’s Lighthouse to honour her late husband, Jeremy, who had Parkinson's disease.
The walk was part of a fundraising event organised by Eastbourne House Care Home, in Whitley Bay, where Morven lives.
She said: “It was about five miles from Tynemouth Priory and we walked to the lighthouse.
“It was a charity day walk and I asked if my money could be for Parkinson’s because my husband had Parkinson's.
