Occupants of car stranded on causeway found safe

A search was launched for the occupants of a car that was partially submerged near the Holy Island causeway before they were found on the island.
-
The Seahouses division of the RNLI sent a lifeboat after receiving a call on Monday afternoon.
The lifeboat team searched the refuge hut for the car’s occupants, before locating the partially submerged and empty vehicle around 50 metres off the causeway.
