No formal offer yet for Isak, says Howe

NEWCASTLE United head coach Eddie Howe has issued a strong stance on Alexander Isak as the Sweden star's summer transfer saga drags on.

Crucially, Howe confirmed to the The Journal there had still not been a formal offer from Liverpool but the player remains back in the UK.

And the head coach also feels that there is STILL a possibility that Isak remains on Tyneside ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Howe, speaking at a press conference in Seoul yesterday, said: "He is still our player. He's contracted to us.
