New squad numbers for the season

ALEXANDER Isak has kept his No 14 shirt at Newcastle United despite his transfer stance this summer.

The wantaway striker had been tipped for the famous No 9 shirt following Callum Wilson's departure, but has been named in his usual number for the coming season.
Whether he pulls on Newcastle colours again remains to be seen, with the 25-year-old said to be determined to force a move away from Tyneside in the coming weeks, with a switch to Liverpool still on the cards.
United will likely start the season without a No 9 with the shirt now vacant. However, they will have a new No 1, with Nick
Pope taking the jersey for the new campaign.
