NEWCASTLE United transfer chiefs will be rubbing their hands together after both Sandro Tonali and Nick Woltemade's value skyrocketed in recent weeks.

- MATTY HEWITT

The pair have been among the bright sparks for Eddie Howe's side so far this season, despite the Magpies' slow start in the Premier League.

Tonali has been a constant fixture in Howe's strongest starting XI since returning from his ban for betting offences last season. The Italian has also agreed to 'a secret contract extension' that will keep him with the club until the summer of 2029, though contract talks with new sporting director Ross Wilson are still set to take place.
