Man arrested after crash deaths freed

A MAN who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a double fatal crash on the A1 in Northumberland has been released under investigation.
-
Emergency services were called to the collision at Buckton, between Belford and Haggerston, last Wednesday morning.
An HGV travelling northbound had collided with a Skoda and Audi both travelling southbound.
The road was closed between the A697 at Alnwick Moor and the B6525 at Lowick for much of the day.
