ALUN Armstrong admitted Gateshead are still working hard to add to their squad after they rounded off a positive week with a home draw in the clash with Aldershot Town.

With the dramatic comeback win at Yeovil Town still fresh in the mind, Armstrong’s men made the perfect start at the International Stadium as Kyle Hurst fired them in front inside five minutes.

But it was the visitors who found themselves in front at halftime as Kwame Thomas and Cameron Hargreaves turned the game on its head.

Hurst got Gateshead back on level terms on the hour mark with his second of the day, before Harry Chapman put the hosts in front for the second time moments later.

However, the points were shared as Hady Ghandour grabbed an equaliser with just under a quarter of an hour remaining.
