Hearts defeat wasn't good enough, admits Hume

DEFENDER Trai Hume has vowed that Sunderland will right the wrongs of their preseason friendly against Hearts and their post-match reflections will be vital going forward - starting tonight.

As part of Craig Gordon's testimonial game, the Lads were on the receiving end of a 3-0 drubbing at Tynecastle Stadium.
It prompted head coach Regis Le Bris to remark “maybe we are a bit tired” and he acknowledged that his team faced opposition with high intensity, direct play and that they struggled.
Hume, left, said: “It wasn't good enough. Results aren't the most important thing, we need to get minutes into the legs to get the fitness up.
