Festival goers beat a path to Spoonfest charity music event

A MUSIC festival in Northumberland raised money for charity at the weekend.

Wooden Spoon Northumberland, a disability rugby charity, held its annual ‘Spoonfest’ at Alnwick Rugby Club on Saturday to fundraise for the important work it does.

The line-up included tribute acts to Abba and Ed Sheeran, local group Howay the Lads and actor and singer Lewis Denny, who got involved to support his home town of Alnwick.
