Contract extension will see Lascelles at club for another year

NEWCASTLE United have confirmed that club captain Jamaal Lascelles is contracted beyond summer 2025.

Despite his existing deal originally being set to run down this June, it has emerged that an extension for Lascelles was triggered last year during the star's injury. Eddie Howe has not put any pressure on the centre-back to get back to full fitness this season after more than a year out with a knee issue.
