Chimney fall street still shut to traffic

A NORTHUMBERLAND street remains closed to vehicles two months after a chimney collapse.

Homes and businesses on Hallstile Bank were evacuated after a chimney collapsed into a neighbouring property on July 30.

There were no reported injuries when the chimney fell from the roof of the Hexham & District Ex-Service Club building.
