Cheers! River Brew site on the Tyne to reopen

Plans have been approved for a redevelopment of the By The River Brew Co site on the Gateshead Quayside

The local authority's planning committee green-lit proposals, brought by the original team behind By The River Brew Co, which will see permanent structures replace the shipping container village.

‘The newly approved project will see the vacant HWKRMARKT shipping container street food market replaced with a new events venue.

‘The cafe and bike shop building will also be shrunk and redesigned into a bar with a new cafe, bar and restaurant building being constructed to replace the container brewery and eatery.
