BRILLIANT winger Chemsdine Talbi’s match-winning strike against Chelsea was the crowning moment in a resolute display as the Moroccan revelled in his first goal for Sunderland.
Chemsdine Talbi celebrates his dramatic late winner at Stamford Bridge
Talbi was a second-half substitute and scored in stoppage time to secure a 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge after being set up by Brian Brobbey.
“I am really happy to have my first goal for this club,” the 20-year-old Morocco international told safc. com.
“We need to be proud of the game.
“Also, thank you to the fans. They showed that they have a great mentality. We don’t play with 11, we play with 12 and we had a great connection.”
Regis Le Bris’ side showed determination and fight to keep out a persistent Blues team before going on to score the winner in the dying embers of the game.
