Boro-linked Gerrard waiting for right job at the right time

STEVEN Gerrard has 'unfinished business' as a manager - but the Liverpool legend has warned he will only return to the dugout if the timing is right.

Gerrard, 45, has been mooted as a potential replacement for Rob Edwards at Middlesbrough.

Gerrard (right) was ruled out as an option by the Boro hierarchy in the summer, but reports have linked the former Rangers boss with the post again and he features prominently on bookmakers’ odds lists.

The ex-England midfielder recently decided against returning to Rangers after holding talks with the Scottish club but has admitted he would ‘jump at’ a certain type of challenge.
