'Amazing day, amazing crowd and an amazing place to ride'

BILLY Bolt has been crowned the champion of the “UK’s toughest head-to-head motorcycle event” on Newcastle Quayside.
Bringing together some of the world’s best riders in a series of head-to-head competitions, huge crowds gathered to watch the Wallsend lad take the crown in the Red Bull Tyne Ride on Saturday.
Bolt faced off against some of the biggest names in the world of Enduro, including 2024 champion Jonny Walker.
His win came a week after he took part in Rothbury’s inaugural Coquet Classic Enduro event on his mountain bike.
