Airport takes flight

IF you are one the millions of people who get on a flight at Newcastle Airport next year, the deal announced today that has seen Spanish aviation giant Aena Internacional take a stake in the airport will not be immediately apparent.
-
The airport is 51% owned by local councils and Aena has bought just over half of the just under half share in private hands.
