S hedding weight without proper supervision can create more problems than it solves, especially for those who are in a hurry to see quick results.

Unsupervised weight loss could be problematic

Weight loss is often portrayed as something that can be achieved through sheer willpower or by following the latest trend, but the reality is far more complex. The human body is a delicate balance of systems that react to changes in food intake, physical activity and stress. When people embark on weight loss journeys without guidance from qualified professionals, they may unknowingly push these systems out of balance.

Many individuals begin restrictive diets after reading about them online or hearing about someone else’s success. These diets often exclude essential nutrients, which can lead to fatigue, dizziness and weakened immunity. Cutting calories too drastically can also cause the body to hold on to fat as a survival mechanism while breaking down muscle instead. This not only slows down metabolism but leaves the individual feeling weaker and less energetic. A plan created under the supervision of a nutritionist takes into account age, health status and lifestyle. Without such considerations, even well intentioned efforts can backfire.
