SLIM honours Sri Lanka's Top SME Entrepreneurs at SMEDA 2024

The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) celebrated the resilience and innovation of the country's micro, small, and medium enterprises (SMEs) at the SLIM SME Development Awards (SMEDA) 2024, held on April 28th at the Monarch Imperial, Colombo. Organized in collaboration with the Asia Small Business Federation (ASBF) - Sri Lanka Chapter, the event recognized excellence across 14 key sectors, with a record number of entries from island-wide businesses.

Chathuranga Abeysinghe, Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, graced the occasion, reinforcing the government's commitment to SME growth. Also present was Rohan Somawansa, Past President of SLIM and Advisor of ASBF Sri Lanka, highlighting the importance of regional collaboration in fostering local enterprises.
