Global GIS celebrates 11th anniversary with CSR programme

Global GIS (Pvt) Ltd, the pioneer of geospatial positioning solutions in Sri Lanka, celebrated its 11th anniversary with an extensive educational CSR programme conducted for the advanced level students at Ananda College, Colombo who are following the subject of engineering technology.

The education and knowledge-sharing programme introduced the students to the subjects of surveying and geospatial solutions including levelling, chain surveying, and theodolite surveying. The objective of the programme was to develop the knowledge of the students of the practical aspects of geospatial solutions along with a hands-on session where the students were able to physically interact with state-of-the-art surveying equipment including high-tech drones and GPSs.
